How to create a free Interdatum CRM account with email and password or with Google, confirm your email, and what your new CRM includes.

Signing up for Interdatum CRM is free and creates both your Interdatum account and your first CRM in one step. You can sign up with an email and password, or with your Google account.

How do I sign up with email and password?

To sign up with email, open the Interdatum sign-up page and fill in the "Create your account" form. Every field is required:

  • Business name – the name of your business, for example "Northern Comfort Heating".
  • Industry – choose your trade from the list.
  • First name and Last name.
  • Email – this becomes your Interdatum sign-in email.
  • Mobile number – used for job alerts and account security. It must be a valid North American phone number.
  • Password – at least 8 characters. Use the Show button to check what you typed.

You may also be asked to complete a quick security check before the form submits. Then click Sign up.

After sign-up, you are sent to the sign-in page with the message "Check your email to confirm your account before signing in." You need to confirm your email before you can open your CRM.

If you see a message that you already have an Interdatum account, sign in instead. One person has one Interdatum account, and you add more CRMs from inside that account with Create new CRM.

Can I sign up with Google?

Yes. On the sign-up page, click Sign up with Google, then Sign up with Google again on the "Start your free CRM" screen and choose your Google account. Google sign-up does not need a separate email confirmation, because Google has already confirmed your address.

After Google sign-up, you land on the Name your CRM setup screen. Fill in:

  • Business name
  • CRM link – the short name used in your CRM's web address (lowercase letters, numbers and dashes).
  • Industry – choose your trade so starter services and pricing can be added.
  • Mobile number
  • Contact email

Click Open CRM to finish. You can change these details later in Settings.

If your Google account already belongs to a CRM, Google sign-up does not create another CRM. Use Create new CRM from your workspaces instead.

How does email confirmation work?

When you sign up with email and password, Interdatum sends an email titled "Confirm your Interdatum CRM email." Click Confirm my email in that email. The confirmation link expires in 24 hours.

If you try to sign in before confirming, Interdatum takes you to a Check your email page and sends a new confirmation email. That page also has a Resend verification email button. You can request a new confirmation email about once a minute. Check your spam folder if the email does not arrive.

If the confirmation link is too old or already used, you see "That verification link is invalid or expired." Sign in again and request a fresh link.

Once your email is confirmed, sign in and you are taken to your CRM.

What do I get after I sign up?

Every new sign-up creates a CRM on the free plan. In your new CRM:

  • You are the Owner and have the Admin role, so you can see every section, including Team and Settings.
  • Your business name, contact email and notification email are filled in from your sign-up details.
  • Two roles are created for you: Admin and Worker.
  • If you picked a trade other than "Other", Interdatum adds starter services for that trade. Each starter service includes an intake form, pricing rules and invoice line items. Starter prices are in Canadian dollars and are only starting points, so edit them to match your business.

If you choose "Other" as your industry, no starter services are added and you create your own services from scratch.

Which industries have starter templates?

Interdatum adds starter services for these trades:

  • HVAC / Heating & Cooling – Heating Repair, Furnace Tune-Up, AC Tune-Up, New System Quote.
  • Plumbing – Plumbing Repair, Drain Cleaning, Water Heater Service.
  • Electrical – Electrical Troubleshooting, Fixture & Outlet Installation, Panel Upgrade or EV Charger Quote.
  • Cleaning – Standard Home Cleaning, Deep Cleaning, Move In / Move Out Cleaning.
  • Landscaping & Snow Removal – Lawn Mowing, Spring / Fall Cleanup, Snow Removal.
  • Pressure Washing – Driveway & Patio Washing, House Washing, Deck & Fence Washing.
  • Auto Detailing – Interior Detail, Exterior Wash & Wax, Full Detail.
  • Handyman & General Repair – Handyman Service, Furniture & TV Mounting, Repair Quote.

Starter services are only added to a CRM that has no services yet. Every starter service, form question and price can be edited or removed later.

Is there a guided setup after I sign up?

Yes. The first time you open your CRM dashboard, Interdatum starts a guided setup tour called the "Initial setup flow." The tour walks you through the Settings tabs, such as adding your business name and logo, choosing estimate and invoice colours, reviewing notification templates, customizing your intake form, styling the client portal and connecting Stripe payments.

You can replay the guided setup at any time. Open Settings, go to the Account tab, and find the Onboarding card. Click Replay next to the flow you want to walk through again: Initial setup flow, Services setup flow, Intake form flow, or Client portal and payments flow.
