Talk to your CRM, hands-free and in real time

Assistant mode turns Interdatum into a voice CRM for the truck and the job site. Just talk. It answers out loud in short, natural replies, stops when you interrupt, keeps going as you move around the CRM, and a casual “yeah” confirms a change.

In plain English

Things people say in Assistant mode

  • “What's on the schedule tomorrow?”
  • “Who still owes us money?”
  • “Text Priya we're 15 minutes late.”
  • “Move the Henderson job to Friday at 10.”
  • “Remind me at 4 to call the supplier.”
  • “Stop. Actually, make it 11.”

Voice Assistant mode

Built for talking, not tapping

Natural, real-time voice

It listens and answers out loud in one or two short sentences, so it feels like a conversation, not a phone menu.

Interrupt any time

Start talking, or say “stop” or “wait”, and it stops speaking. There's a Stop button too.

Stays on while you work

Assistant mode keeps running as you move between CRM pages and even when you close the panel, so you can look things up while you talk.

Casual confirmations

“Yeah”, “go ahead” or “send it” confirms the change it just described. “Wait” or “never mind” cancels. Every change still shows as a card.

Pick the voice

Admins can choose the assistant's voice in Settings and preview it first. The choice applies to the whole team.

Text when voice isn't available

If the real-time voice isn't available, replies show as text instead of falling back to a robotic browser voice.

Step by step

How to use it

  1. Turn it on

Click Assistant mode at the top of the assistant panel, or press Ctrl or ⌘ + Shift + Space, and allow the microphone.

  2. Talk naturally

Ask a question or ask for a change. No wake word and no button to hold.

  3. Listen, or cut in

It answers out loud. If you already know what you want, just start talking.

  4. Say yes to the card

Changes appear as cards in the panel. A casual “yeah” confirms them; the yes only covers what it just described.

Safety

Voice gets the same guardrails as chat

Your yes is checked

A spoken yes only works within five minutes and only for the changes in the assistant's last reply. Voice cards expire after 15 minutes.

Re-checked on confirm

Permissions, schedule conflicts and opt-outs are checked again before anything is saved or sent.

For you, not your callers

Assistant mode is for you and your team inside the CRM. Interdatum doesn't answer customers' phone calls with AI.

Questions

Voice Assistant mode: frequently asked questions

What is a voice CRM?

A CRM you can run by talking. In Interdatum, Assistant mode lets you ask about your business and make changes out loud: check tomorrow's schedule, move a job, text a client or record a payment, without typing. Every change still waits for your yes.

Can I interrupt it while it's talking?

Yes. Start talking, or say “stop” or “wait”, and it stops speaking and listens. You can also tap Stop.

Does it keep listening when I change pages?

Yes. Assistant mode stays on as you move between CRM pages and when you close the panel. The one exception is the Inbox page, where the assistant isn't available, so voice ends when you open it.

Does it work on a phone or tablet?

It runs in your web browser, so you can use it on a computer, tablet or phone. Allow microphone access when the browser asks.

How much voice is included?

Starter includes 60 voice minutes and 15,000 characters of spoken replies a month; Pro includes 300 minutes and 60,000 characters. Limits reset on the 1st. When spoken replies run out the assistant keeps answering in text, and when voice minutes run out the session ends and you can keep typing.

Can it answer my customers' phone calls?

No. Assistant mode is for you inside the CRM. Customer calls ring in the CRM and go to voicemail, and missed-call text-back can text the caller. The AI receptionist answers texts only.
